My original intention for this blog was to share crochet and knitting patterns, projects, and inspirations. Some of my own design and some from free patterns ~ with a twist.  So without further ado, below is a pattern I'd love to share with you designed by "The Crochet Dude."

I have sorely neglected the garden this spring.  To make amends I have dreamed up a host of outdoor projects. I have an innate desire to create an escape amongst the flowers.  It clears the mind and brings inner peace.  This is proving to be a challenge with the canvas I have to work with, the typical "track home" lot.  It's a shame that these developers come in and wipe the land clear of all existing life.  Until recently, I hadn't seen any birds, for the lack of mature trees.     I am determined though.... 

I've nearly broken the 'backspace' button on my keyboard. I have started this post a hundred times only to delete it and start over again.  The problem is I'm not really sure where to begin. 

In spite of a lifetime filled with inspired projects, nothing has ever amounted to anything. My insecurities whisper, "blogging will be the same." My mind is filled with inspiration and yet I haven't found my place.

I cannot believe that I'm blogging... It seems like such a self-absorbed endeavor.

Of course the obvious thoughts ensue, "Who would ever read my measly ramblings?" and "I'm pretty sure the subject on crafty matters of the needle-y kind have been thoroughly explored. "

And yet here I am, finding the process somewhat cathartic...

realizing I may have a few worthy things to say after all.
